As Thanksgiving began as a day to give thanks and sacrifice for the blessing of harvest, we are spotlighting the Ronald McDonald House. The organization strives to create, find, and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children. Specifically, the organization gives children access to medical care and supports their families.
Currently, they have over 695+ programs and offer 1.4 million overnight stays for families. With 136,000 volunteers, Donastar was able to help the amazing organization last week. Josh, Dehryen, Steve, and Jordan made a delicious meal for the members at the Portland Ronald McDonald House.
In detail, they made pasta with meatballs, salad, and homemade garlic bread. Donastar got to explore the house too! Josh said it was his favorite part because the house seems like a very special place.
Overall, Donastar was honored to be able to help such an amazing organization. Dehryen voiced that it was very fulfilling helping others by providing food for the night and many nights to come. He got to speak with a mom and son from California who were telling him all about the different Ronald McDonald Houses which was an eye opening experience.

Thanks for reading and have an amazing Thanksgiving. We are grateful for you all.
