Donastar takes the Pacific Northwest!

The entire Donastar team spent the week together in the pacific northwest


    As food service business continues to ramp up throughout the United States & Canada, exciting things are happening here at Donastar! Throughout the past month, we have managed to successfully begin a full remodel of our home office space in Washougal, WA. We have begun installation of a garage door, we removed 100% of the carpet, and removed all of the adhesive on our concrete floor. Over the past few weeks we have have purchased and sourced three types of fountain beverage dispensers to our Washougal office space to develop training and demo resources. We continue to successfully manage Manitowoc, Hoshizaki, Lancer, Cornelius, Follet, FBD as well as bar gun equipment, water filtration installations, and reactive services. Additionally, we have completed plumbing, HVAC, and general contracting projects associated with QSR chains and C-store facilities. Donastar has identified ourselves as a new service agent for Cumberland Farms on Service Channel as well as the Urbane Café on Ecotrak, a facility management software.

    Much of the continued success of Donastar has been due to our close-knit team, which we were fortunate enough to have all in one spot for the very first time since the company’s inception back in 2018. The week of June 21st allowed for our team to work under the same roof during the day and participate in team activities in the evening. From boating on the Columbia, to hikes at Larch mountain revealing amazing viewpoints, to backyard BBQ’s at sundown.     Besides the increased business and successful team meeting, we also had the chance to celebrate a title change within the Company. Mike Digilio, our former technical operations and training lead will now assume the title of Director of Technical Operations and Special Projects. Mike has taken steps to help support areas of Donastar’s business that have proven to be invaluable and we at Donastar as well as our customers value him immensely! We are excited to see how Mike thrives in his new position.
